We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated and operationally strong QA Manager to lead a team of engineers. In this role, you will not only oversee managing a dedicated QA team but also own and drive end to end qualifications of multiple releases. In this role, you would be responsible for all aspects of Quality Assurance at Nutanix, from setting up test strategies and processes to managing qualification of all product releases to building a world class QA team.

• Develop a deep understanding of the product, both from a customer's perspective and its underlying technical principles and architecture.
• Work with geographically diverse cross functional teams to define and implement the overall product's testing strategy and processes.
• Hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing QA team.
• Encourage learning and skill development within the team.
• Motivate and lead software engineers to achieve top performance.
• Continuously refine processes and best practices to enhance team efficiency.
• Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software releases.
• Lead and drive quality efforts for features owned by the team.
• Conduct requirement and design reviews for new features.
• Design high-level test approaches and implement detailed test plans.
• Debug and identify root causes of complex product issues.
• Continuously improve test case efficiency and testing strategies.
• Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
• Own the overall health and quality of assigned features.

• A BE or MS in Computer Science or related stream is required.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant industry experience, with minimum 5 years in QA.
• Proven experience in a QA leader role, preferably in Storage, Network, Virtualization areas.
• Experience in leading technical QA teams for features in distributed systems.
• Experience in designing complex Test Plans and Automation Plans.
• Experience in qualifying distributed systems at scale and measuring performance.
• Experience in any Management plane such as vCenter would be a plus.
• Good exposure to Automation development in Python.
• Ability to debug complex issues and root cause failures.
• Experience with Core Storage, Virtualisation, File Systems, Block/Object Storage, Disaster Recovery & Backup, IAM & Security is desired.
• Good understanding of Linux Systems and virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, KVM.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with development, product management, and cross functional teams.
• Excellent project and sprint management skills.

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e., San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
