Project Lead

YouWeCan Foundation (Registered as Yuvraj Singh Foundation) is on an ambitious mission to screen 60,000 women in 15 States for breast cancer under the project, after successfully hitting the milestone of screening 1,50,000 women for breast cancer.

We are seeking a Project Lead to manage and drive the allocated area teams in order to achieve

organizational and project goals. The position includes managing routine project operations and patient navigation for the program. We are searching for someone that is gentle, has strong communication skills, is well organized, proactive, and most essential, is sincere and dedicated to their work.

Location: Gurugram

The role of the Project Lead is a multi-faceted one covering implementation across 15 states in India, reporting to the Program Manager - Breast Cancer.

Project Planning and Strategy Development:

• Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining goals, objectives, timelines, and milestones for breast cancer screening activities across 15 states.
• Conduct research and analysis to understand the unique healthcare landscape, demographics, and cultural considerations in each state.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, NGOs, and community leaders, to align project goals with local priorities and resources.

Team Leadership and Management:

• Train and manage a diverse team of project staff, including regional heads and cluster coordinators
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and accountability among team members.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, creativity, and Innovation.

Partnership Development and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Cultivate partnerships and strategic alliances with government agencies, healthcare institutions, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to leverage resources and support for the project along with the Regional Heads.
• Facilitate regular meetings, workshops, and collaborative forums to engage stakeholders, solicit feedback, and address concerns.
• Advocate for policy changes and resource allocation to support breast cancer screening initiatives at the state and national levels.

Program Implementation and Monitoring:

• Oversee the implementation of breast cancer screening activities, including awareness campaigns, mobile screening clinics, community outreach events, and capacity-building Workshops - online and offline.
• Monitor project progress, evaluate performance against established targets and indicators, and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement quality assurance protocols to ensure the accuracy, safety, and effectiveness of screening services and follow-up care.

Data Management and Reporting:

• Establish data collection systems and protocols to capture key performance indicators, demographic information, screening outcomes, and follow-up services.
• Analyze project data to track trends, identify disparities, and measure the impact of screening interventions on breast cancer detection rates and patient outcomes along with the Program and M&E Manager.
• Prepare regular progress reports, presentations, and publications to communicate project findings to stakeholders, donors, and the broader public.

Budgeting and Resource Management:

• Monitor expenses, review financial reports, and address budget variances in accordance with organizational policies and donor requirements.

Capacity Building and Knowledge Sharing:

• Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and skill-building programs for project staff, healthcare providers, and community volunteers to enhance their capacity to deliver breast cancer screening services.
• Promote knowledge sharing and learning exchanges among project partners, sharing best practices, lessons learned, and innovative approaches to breast cancer prevention and control.

Requirements:

• Public Health Graduates/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BDS with a minimum of 5+ years of experience.
• Excellent professional communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
