Role Description

We are seeking a passionate and creative Fashion Designer Intern to join our design team. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fashion industry, from concept development to final product. The intern will assist in design processes, fabric research, sketching, and sample development while learning about the dynamics of working in a professional fashion environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing design concepts, sketches, and mood boards.
  • Research fashion trends, colors, fabrics, trims, and market competitors.
  • Support the design team in fabric and material sourcing.
  • Contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions for seasonal collections.
  • Assist in preparing technical drawings, specs, and design sheets.
  • Coordinate with sampling teams and follow up on sample development.
  • Maintain design files, swatches, and collection archives.
  • Provide backstage or production support during fashion shows or shoots (if required).

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Design or related field.
  • Strong sketching and illustration skills (manual or digital).
  • Knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW.
  • Understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and embellishments.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and updated with the latest fashion trends.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
