Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fashion Designer at Pallavi Poddar Official, located in Kolkata. The Fashion Designer will work on designing garments, creating and improving embroidery patterns, selecting textiles, and perfecting fittings. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the design team, staying updated on fashion trends, producing high-quality sketches and designs, and overseeing production to maintain the brand's high standards. The designer will also engage with clients to customize bridal wear and contribute to innovative design concepts while upholding the brand's ethos of traditional craftsmanship.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Fashion Design and creating innovative designs aligned with brand aesthetics
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in Embroidery and Textiles, with a focus on traditional craftsmanship
  • Strong skills in Fitting and garment construction to ensure precision and quality
  • Passion for fashion trends and an eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both the design team and clients
  • Experience in the bridal or luxury garment industry is a strong advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred
