Role & responsibilities :

  • Design seasonal collections for infants, toddlers, and young children (0-10 years)
  • Research and interpret global kidswear trends, colors, and silhouettes
  • Develop mood boards, sketches, and tech packs for sampling
  • Collaborate with merchandising and production teams to ensure design feasibility
  • Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments suited for kidswear
  • Ensure comfort, safety, and style in all designs
  • Conduct competitor analysis and trend benchmarking

Desired profile:

  • Degree or diploma in Fashion Design from any recognized institute
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in kidswear design
  • Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and child-safe design principles
  • Proficiency in design software: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
