Your Opportunity

As a Senior Technical Marketing Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the go-to-market strategy for our data management platform. This is a high-impact position where you will translate complex technical features into compelling business outcomes. You will be instrumental in driving the technical marketing content and strategy, working closely with our pre-sales, technical sales, and product management teams to ensure alignment and success.

Your expertise will directly influence our competitive positioning and ability to win in the marketplace. This role offers the chance to lead significant projects, from building compelling demonstrations to delivering impactful workshops that educate and inspire our customers and partners.

Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a knack for translating technical jargon into clear, concise, and persuasive messaging. You are a self-starter who excels at managing short-term projects from conception to successful execution. With a strong blend of technical acumen and business-savvy, you are comfortable engaging with a variety of stakeholders, from engineers to C-level executives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Content and Demo Creation: Develop and maintain a portfolio of compelling technical marketing assets, including technical white papers, blog posts, presentations, and webinars. You will be responsible for building and managing engaging demo environments that showcase our platform's power and differentiation.
  • Workshop Development and Delivery: Design, build, and deliver both technical and business-oriented workshops for customers, partners, and internal teams to deepen their understanding of our solutions.
  • Sales Enablement: Act as a key technical resource for the pre-sales and technical sales teams, providing them with the tools, training, and support they need to effectively position our products against the competition.
  • Product Collaboration: Work in close coordination with product managers to influence the product roadmap by providing feedback from the field and insights from competitive analysis.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth technical competitive analysis to understand the strengths and weaknesses of competing solutions and develop effective positioning strategies.
  • Project Management: Manage and execute short-term technical marketing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet strategic objectives.
  • Field Marketing Assistance: Collaborate with and assist the field marketing team by providing technical expertise and content for demand generation campaigns, trade shows, and other marketing events.
  • Thought Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert and evangelist for our data management solutions at industry events, webinars, and customer meetings.

Your Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in a technical, product-focused role such as technical marketing, product marketing, sales engineering, or pre-sales, preferably within a B2B SaaS company.
  • Deep understanding of the data management ecosystem, including hands-on experience or strong knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, and Data Privacy solutions.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts and features into clear, compelling value propositions and business benefits.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to confidently present to both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience of creating high-quality technical marketing content and sales enablement materials.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience working collaboratively with product management, engineering, and sales teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field like Computer Science, Engineering, or a related marketing discipline. A master's degree is a plus.
