Role: Team LeadDesignation: AI & ML ManagerDepartment: Information TechnologyReporting To: CTOLocation: Mumbai (Andheri)Scope of Operations: GlobalPurpose of the RoleWe are seeking a visionary and hands-on AI & ML Manager to spearhead Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning initiatives across the company's core digital systems. The role involves driving AI/ML adoption from strategy to execution, ensuring measurable business outcomes through automation, predictive insights, and customer-centric innovations.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic LeadershipDefine and own the AI/ML roadmap aligned with business and digital transformation goals.Evaluate current ERP and digital infrastructure for AI/ML readiness and recommend modernization.Promote a data-driven culture across the organization.Project ImplementationLead end-to-end AI/ML projects: data acquisition, model development, deployment, and monitoring.Ensure smooth AI/ML integration with enterprise systems (ERP, Finance, Transport Management, Workflow Automation, Customer Portal, etc.).Infrastructure & ToolsEstablish infrastructure for model training and deployment (on-premises, cloud, or hybrid).Recommend and implement tools for MLOps, AutoML, NLP, and Computer Vision.Team & Vendor ManagementBuild and lead a team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts or manage outsourced vendors.Identify, evaluate, and onboard technology partners and solution providers.Governance & ComplianceEnsure responsible AI practices, including bias reduction, explainability, and compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)AreaKPIMetricAI/ML StrategyRoadmap creationRoadmap approved within 90 daysUse Case ImplementationAdoption# of AI/ML use cases deployed per quarter/yearBusiness ImpactEfficiency% reduction in manual tasks or turnaround timeData UtilizationData coverage% of structured/unstructured data usedModel AccuracyReliabilityAvg. accuracy > 85%Cost EfficiencyROIROI vs. cost of implementationUptime & MaintenanceService continuity>99% uptime of AI/ML servicesModel Deployment SpeedAgilityAvg. time from PoC to production (TBA)Team GrowthCapability buildingHiring & training completedFeedback LoopAdaptability# of iterations based on user feedbackEducational Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or MBA (IT).Experience: Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in AI/ML.Certifications: Proficiency in MS Office, Data Dashboards, CRM systems.
