Role Proficiency:

Independently develops error free code with high quality validation of applications guides other developers and assists Lead 1 – Software Engineering

Outcomes:

• Understand and provide input to the application/feature/component designs; developing the same in accordance with user stories/requirements.

• Code debug test document and communicate product/component/features at development stages.

• Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.

• Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models

• Mentor Developer 1 – Software Engineering and Developer 2 – Software Engineering to effectively perform in their roles

• Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system

• Proactively identify issues/defects/flaws in module/requirement implementation

• Assists Lead 1 – Software Engineering on Technical design. Review activities and begin demonstrating Lead 1 capabilities in making technical decisions

• Application Development o Design, develop, and maintain scalable, responsive, and high-performance React web applications. o Build reusable, modular components and ensure seamless integration with MongoDB through RESTful APIs or GraphQL. o Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Technical Contribution o Translate business and UX requirements into high-quality front-end solutions. o Work closely with product owners, UX designers, and backend teams to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery. o Ensure applications meet enterprise standards for performance, security, and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Core Expertise o Advanced programming skills in , including Hooks, Context API, and state management libraries (Redux or similar). o Deep knowledge of CSS3 and modern styling frameworks (Sass/LESS, Tailwind, Material UI). o Strong, hands-on experience with MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, aggregation, and performance tuning. o Proficiency in RESTful API integration and front-end build pipelines.
• Development & Tools o Experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript. o Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress. o Proficiency with Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Soft Skills o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to mentor junior developers. o Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
