About the Role:

We are seeking a Junior PCB Designer to assist in the design, layout, and documentation of printed circuit boards (PCBs) for UAV and electronic systems. The role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in electronics and PCB design who wants to grow under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in schematic capture and PCB layout design under supervision.
  • Work with design tools such as Altium Designer / KiCad / Eagle / OrCAD (as applicable).
  • Create and maintain component libraries and footprints.
  • Follow design rules (DRC/ERC) and ensure manufacturability (DFM/DFT).
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to implement circuit designs into PCB layouts.
  • Prepare fabrication and assembly documentation (Gerber files, BOMs, drill files).
  • Support debugging, rework, and modification of prototype boards.
  • Maintain version control and proper documentation of design files

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
  • Familiarity with PCB design software (at least one: KiCad, Altium, Eagle, OrCAD).
  • Basic understanding of electronic components, circuits, and datasheets.
  • Knowledge of PCB stack-up, grounding, and signal routing concepts.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Eagerness to learn high-speed design, power electronics, and RF layouts.
