Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design & Maintain manual test cases.
  • Create detailed, step-by-step manual test cases based on project requirements and functional specifications.
  • Perform manual testing to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Document and track test results, defects, and issues using appropriate tools and methodologies.
  • Investigate, triage, and prioritize reported defects based on severity and impact.
  • Work closely with development teams to facilitate timely resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure alignment on quality goals and objectives.
  • You will be required to give technical interviews to clients or internal teams before you are onboarded on new projects.

Requirements & Skills

  • 4-5+ years of testing experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality, high stake projects in an agile environment.
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence for managing the application lifecycle.
  • Must have good experience in testing mobile and web applications.
  • Must have good experience in writing effective manual test cases.
  • Must have experience in running regression or smoke testing suit.
  • Must have experience in deciding priorities of test cases and managing all test case scenarios.
  • Must have experience in handling customer directly without need of supervision.
  • Ability to communicate properly by good written and verbal communication and by generating good test reports.

Good To Have

  • Exposure to Agile, Scrum
  • Exposure to Automation testing is a plus
  • Exposure to API testing or performance testing using Postman and Jmeter is a plus
  • Creating Test Plans, Test Strategies, setting up Testing Environments, Understand business requirements
  • Experience with Testrails, Testlink, or other Test management tools.
