As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

The Migration Architect will lead the design and execution of large-scale migrations for Microsoft Exchange and Entra environments, ensuring seamless integration, robust security, and compliance across hybrid and cloud platforms. This role demands deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong client engagement skills.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 10+ years in IT, including 5+ years in a senior technical architect or lead role.

• Architect and implement solutions for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.

• Design hybrid coexistence (mail flow, GAL sync, free/busy) and manage third-party migration tools (Quest, BitTitan, SkyKick, etc.).

• Develop hybrid identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, MFA, and Identity Protection.

• Architect AAD Connect, Pass-through Authentication, and Federation models.

• Establish governance frameworks for Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

• Implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, retention policies, and compliance solutions (eDiscovery, Insider Risk, Purview).

• Design migration architectures for organizations with 10,000+ seats and multi-geo deployments.

• Address network and performance considerations (direct internet breakout, Zscaler, ExpressRoute).

• Produce high-quality documentation (HLDs, migration playbooks, executive roadmaps).

• Advise C-level stakeholders and simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

• Mentor delivery engineers and manage project risks.

• Manage Exchange Online/Server, mailbox provisioning, permissions, delegation, distribution groups, shared/resource mailboxes.

• Configure mail flow, connectors, accepted domains, address book policies, and email address policies.

• Implement anti-spam, anti-malware, Safe Links/Safe Attachments, DMARC, DKIM, SPF, RBAC, eDiscovery, audit logs, and DLP for email.

• Integrate Exchange with Azure Active Directory / Entra ID.

• Design Conditional Access policies for Outlook/Exchange.

• Architect and manage hybrid Exchange deployments.

• Plan and execute migration strategies (cutover, staged, hybrid, third-party tools).

• Oversee public folder migration and coexistence, DNS, Autodiscover, and mail flow troubleshooting.

• Configure Outlook for Windows, Mac, Mobile, and OWA customization.

• Integrate Mobile Device Management (Intune, ActiveSync policies).

• Design Exchange Server roles, DAGs, high availability, performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning.

• Integrate Exchange Online Protection (EOP) and Defender for Office 365.

• Automate provisioning, reporting, and policy enforcement using PowerShell and Graph API.

• Core Platforms: Exchange Online, Exchange Server (2016/2019), Azure AD / Entra ID.

• Supporting Services: Microsoft Purview, Defender for Office 365, Intune.

• Protocols: MAPI over HTTP, Exchange ActiveSync, SMTP, POP, IMAP, Autodiscover.

• Security: EOP, DMARC/DKIM/SPF, Transport Rules, SIEM integration (Sentinel).

• Management Tools: Exchange Admin Center, PowerShell, Hybrid Configuration Wizard.

• Integration: Microsoft Graph API, third-party migration tools, backup/monitoring tools.

• Identity & Access: Entra ID fundamentals, lifecycle management, RBAC, authentication models, self-service password reset, MFA, Conditional Access.

• Security & Governance: Conditional Access, MFA, passwordless authentication, Identity Protection, access reviews, entitlement management.

• Integration: SaaS apps via SAML/OAuth2/OIDC, Entra Connect, hybrid security, automation via Graph API/PowerShell.

• Advanced: Zero Trust architecture, multi-tenant governance, B2B/B2C collaboration, Privileged Identity Management, SIEM/SOAR integration, custom app/API extensions.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Microsoft Certifications (MS-102, SC-300, SC-400, MS-700, MS-203, AZ-305, MD-100, MD-101, MS-100, MS-101, MS-500) are highly desirable.
