Job Description:

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Hiring, training, and managing a team of technical specialists including software developers, network engineers, IT support personnel. 
       
    • Providing performance feedback, coaching, and career development opportunities. 
       
    • Delegating tasks and managing workload distribution. 
       



  • Technical Project Management:
    • Identifying and prioritizing technology needs aligned with business objectives. 
       
    • Planning, executing, and monitoring technical projects within budget and timelines. 
       
    • Defining project scope, deliverables, and success metrics. 
       
    • Managing project risks and mitigation strategies 
       



  • Technology Strategy Development:
    • Evaluating emerging technologies and recommending solutions to improve operational efficiency. 
       
    • Developing and implementing technology roadmaps to support future business goals 
       
    • Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices 
       



  • System Administration and Maintenance:
    • Overseeing the day-to-day operation of IT systems and infrastructure 
       
    • Troubleshooting technical issues and coordinating with support teams 
       
    • Ensuring system security and data integrity 
       



  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
    • Working closely with other departments (e.g., sales, marketing, operations) to understand their technology needs 
       
    • Communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders 
       
    • Managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations 
       




Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong technical background in relevant areas like software development, network engineering, database management, etc.
  • Proven experience managing technical teams and projects
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Leadership and communication abilities to effectively guide and motivate a team
  • Project management skills and proficiency with project management tools
  • Understanding of business needs and ability to align technology solutions accordingly
