We are seeking a passionate and experienced MMA Certified Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mixed martial arts, with certification from a recognized MMA training organization. You will be responsible for coaching individuals and groups, developing training plans, and ensuring athletes meet their performance goals in a safe and motivating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement personalized MMA training programs for clients of various skill levels.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions, focusing on striking, grappling, conditioning, and technique.
  • Teach disciplines such as Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Boxing, Wrestling, and Kickboxing.
  • Monitor athlete performance and progress, making adjustments to training as needed.
  • Educate clients on proper form, safety, nutrition, and injury prevention.
  • Prepare fighters for amateur or professional competitions (if applicable).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of training facilities.
  • Assist in marketing and promotion of MMA classes and events.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest training methods, equipment, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • MMA Trainer Certification from a recognized body (e.g., IMMAF, USA MMA, ACE MMA, etc.).
  • Proven experience in training MMA or combat sports.
  • Proficiency in multiple disciplines (e.g., BJJ, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Boxing).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire clients.
  • First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
  • Background in competitive fighting (amateur or professional) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of sports science and conditioning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree or coursework in Kinesiology, Sports Science, or related fields.
  • Experience coaching fighters for competitive MMA events.
  • Experience with fitness apps, tracking tools, or gym management software.

Working Conditions:

  • Physical demands including lifting, striking pads, demonstrating techniques, etc.
  • Early morning, evening, or weekend hours may be required.
  • Work environment includes a gym setting with potential exposure to physical activity-related risks.
