About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated AI & ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy advanced machine learning models and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong foundations in mathematics, programming, and data science, with proven experience in developing algorithms that solve real-world problems at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and AI solutions for business use cases.
• Preprocess and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for training and deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineering teams to integrate ML models into production systems.
• Evaluate model performance and continuously improve accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.
• Research and experiment with cutting-edge AI/ML techniques (e.g., deep learning, NLP, computer vision, recommendation systems).
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and ethical AI standards.
• Document processes, methodologies, and outcomes for knowledge sharing and audit.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education/Certification: Degree, diploma, or bootcamp certification in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Practical Skills First: We appreciate practical skills and demonstrable knowledge over formal degrees. Candidates with strong project portfolios will be highly valued.
• Hands-on project work with ability to demonstrate results (GitHub repositories, portfolio, media files, or case studies).
• Prior internship experience or solid self-driven projects (mandatory for internship applicants).
• Strong foundation in Python (mandatory) and basic understanding of data analytics, machine learning, AI, and backend systems.
• Additional exposure to other programming languages like R or Java is a plus (not mandatory).
• Familiarity with the Electricity/Energy domain will be considered an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently, manage datasets, and build simple ML/AI solutions with a structured approach.
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and willingness to learn new technologies quickly.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python, R, or Java for machine learning.
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras.
• Experience with data processing tools: Pandas, NumPy, SQL, Spark.
• Knowledge of NLP, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and ML Ops tools.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
