Accountant
to manage and oversee financial operations, ensuring smooth financial management and compliance with regulations.

Role Overview:

As an Accountant at CECA, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. You will work closely with the management team to ensure that the organization's financial operations are efficient, transparent, and aligned with our growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Accounting:

• Maintain and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and standards.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Assist in preparing the budget and financial forecasts.

Tax & Compliance:

• Ensure timely filing of taxes and compliance with local regulations.
• Prepare and submit GST returns, TDS, and other required financial filings.
• Maintain and file statutory documents, ensuring compliance with tax laws and corporate governance.

Payroll Management:

• Process payroll on a regular basis, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
• Calculate and manage employee benefits, taxes, and deductions accurately.

Budgeting & Cost Control:

• Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Provide recommendations for cost control and financial efficiency.

Internal Controls & Audit:

• Assist with internal and external audits to ensure financial integrity.
• Review financial processes and implement improvements to streamline accounting operations.

Financial Analysis:

• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.
• Assist in identifying financial trends and providing insights into business performance.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an international or consultancy setting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Experience with cross-border financial transactions and international tax regulations is a plus.
