Job Title: Robotics Field EngineerLocation: Bangalore, IndiaJob Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:We are looking for a Robotics Field Engineer who can bridge the gap between design, manufacturing, and real-world deployment. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of understanding engineering drawings, coordinating with vendors, overseeing manufacturing processes, performing assembly and quality checks, and handling end-to-end field deployment and support. Key Responsibilities:Manufacturing Coordination & Quality:Interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.

Coordinate with manufacturing vendors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Monitor and oversee fabrication, machining, assembly, and procurement processes. Conduct in-house or vendor-based quality inspections to verify tolerances, materials, and finish.

Supervise and participate in the mechanical/electrical assembly of robotic systems. Field Engineering & Deployment:Install, calibrate, and validate robotic systems at customer or field locations. Execute field-level troubleshooting and issue resolution for mechanical, electrical, or software problems.

Perform system-level testing, commissioning, and performance validation in real-world conditions. Act as the primary field contact for system deployment, client handover, and support. Client Interaction & Feedback:Provide on-site technical support and training to clients/end users.

Capture customer feedback, field issues, and feature requests; relay to design and product teams. Ensure client satisfaction by delivering responsive service and optimal field performance. Documentation & Reporting:Maintain logs for installation, inspection, failure analysis, and corrective actions.

Generate detailed field service and deployment reports. Track inventory and spare parts required for field deployment and maintenance. Required Skills & Qualifications:Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.3+ years of hands-on experience in robotic systems, industrial automation, or field engineering.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic). Experience in coordinating with machine shops, sheet metal vendors, fabrication and assembly units. Excellent assembly skills—mechanical and basic electrical/wiring.

Quick problem-solving abilities and resilience in challenging field conditions. Strong verbal and written communication skills for vendor and client interactions. Willingness to travel to vendor sites and field deployment locations (up to 60% travel).

Good to Have:Basic understanding of embedded electronics and control systems. Prior experience with Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), AGVs, or robotic arms.
