Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Corporate Communications Executive to support our internal and external communications initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong flair for storytelling, content creation, and media engagement, and will assist in building a strong brand presence for Meril across various communication platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and executing internal and external communication strategies in line with brand and business goals
  • Draft press releases, articles, blog posts, and other written content
  • Coordinate with media houses, PR agencies, and industry publications for press coverage and media relations
  • Support in planning and executing brand campaigns, corporate events, and webinars
  • Monitor media coverage and create daily/weekly/monthly reports
  • Support crisis communications and reputation management efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, HR, CSR, and leadership to ensure aligned messaging
  • Help maintain and update corporate communication tools, assets, and databases

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, PR, Marketing, or related field
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, PR agency, or media
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office; basic knowledge of design tools like Canva, Adobe Suite is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing deadlines and projects
  • Willingness to travel across the North and West region, occasionally
