JD'S :

  • Execute and implement SOPs across stores.
  • Evaluate Store Managers' KRA/KPI and manage team performance.
  • Conduct training for SM/FM/CSA on sales, communication, and customer service (internal & external).
  • Prepare store-wise targets and communicate them effectively.
  • Handle customer issues and ensure high service standards.
  • Manage staff rotas, ensuring adequate coverage for shop floor, opening/closing times, and replenishment; share schedules one month in advance.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews to motivate individuals and provide clear guidance.
  • Train and develop the team to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Review team performance regularly, giving immediate feedback for recognition and development.
  • Identify and manage poor performance issues following company policy.
  • Complete and update all retail targets; communicate results to the team.
  • Support the Head of Retail to maintain consistent, exceptional customer service in all stores.
  • Build strong relationships with the Head of Retail, Buyers, and Management.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Deputize for the Head of Retail in their absence.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the store is presented and merchandised to the highest standards, focusing on profitable items and retail KPIs.
  • Drive sales, conversions, margins, and profit to achieve targets.
  • Understand daily, weekly, and monthly store targets; communicate implications for sales, profitability, costs, and staffing to the team.
  • Complete morning briefs and deployment plans to focus the team on customer service and sales.
  • Maintain outstanding presentation and visual merchandising; ensure the store is tidy, clean, and fully stocked.
  • Understand how visual merchandising and pricing impact customer conversion, average spend, and gross profit margins.
  • Handle store opening, closing, and cashing up accurately, including next-day targets and comprehensive handovers.
  • Keep staff updated on product changes, offers, and promotions.
  • Reduce stock loss; observe safety and security procedures and report misuse or theft to Head of Retail.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-turnover retail environments.
  • 2–3 years in operations management or similar roles.
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and delegate workloads effectively.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.
  • Strong team leadership skills, ensuring consistent, high-quality customer service.
  • Ability to develop team members' product knowledge and engagement skills.
