Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accountant for an Executive position at our Ahmedabad office. The ideal candidate will hold a full-time role in our organization, requiring effective management of financial transactions and reporting. The candidate should possess significant skills in accounts payable, receivable, and financial reporting, contributing to the company's accounting functions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in accounts payable, ensuring prompt and precise payments to vendors and suppliers (Mandatory skill).
  • Skilled in managing accounts receivable, proficient in maintaining and collecting outstanding balances (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, adept at preparing accurate financial statements and reports (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience with QuickBooks, competent in utilizing this software for accounting purposes.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and spreadsheet management.
  • Familiarity with SAP Financial Accounting, capable of navigating and executing tasks within this system.
  • Understanding of general ledger accounting principles and their applications in practice.
  • Ability to perform reconciliation processes, ensuring data accuracy between different financial records.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable processes and management of the general ledger.
  • Prepare precise financial statements and reports, ensuring alignment with legal and company guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory standards to support audits and reviews.
  • Conduct account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
  • Use various accounting software such as QuickBooks and SAP for maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Liaise with external auditors and streamline the audit process to enhance accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on financial analysis and reporting requirements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures to enhance financial operations and reporting.
