  • Job Summary:

The Junior Accountant supports the accounting team with daily financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP. This role assists in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, managing invoices, and supporting audits and tax filings.   • Key Responsibilities:

Assist in day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations.

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.

Assist with financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP.

Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions.

Record journal entries, reconcile bank statements, and maintain ledgers.

Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and on time.

Handle petty cash and expense reimbursements.

Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for financial queries.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with internship experience in accounting or finance preferred.

  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of GAAP and U.S. accounting standards.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, QBD preferred.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and data entry accuracy.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Work Environment:

Full-time,

  • Monday to Friday
