We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Employee Compliance.

In this role, you will:

Provide guidance to stakeholders on matters pertaining to Employee Conduct activities.As control owners, challenge 1LoD and provide better analysis and insights.To proactively identify and support in the management of significant new or emerging risks from an Employee Compliance perspectiveTo pro-actively work with the Business and Stakeholders to enhance policies and procedures as required.Develop and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with stakeholders.To provide innovative and effective solutions to problem statements based on SME knowledge thatassist the Business / Function.Support the continuing development, implementation and improvement of the processes, capabilities,capacity and infrastructure needed to effectively manage RC risks in a changing environment.Handle the Employee Conduct activities on a day-to-day basis which includes BAU activities and qualitychecks.

To be successful you will:

Minimum of 5 Years experience in Banking/Financial Institution/Risk management/Compliance roles Risk Frameworks – An understanding of the concepts supporting a risk management framework, the lines of defenses and how they interact and how a risk profile is established, with key risks identified and appropriate controls mapped. Knowledge of how a risk profile can be challenged and remediation activities tracked Regulatory Risks – Knowledge of the wider regulatory environment and some idea of the likely regulatory risks and upcoming changes that are mostly likely to impact HSBC and which areas of our business are likely to be most affected. Business Processes – Candidates should have an overall understanding of the different types of business of HSBC and the types of products offered by each and how these businesses are supported by middle and back offices Analytical Skills – The candidates must be able to understand huge data, compare information from multiple sources and reach a conclusion, identifying anomalies and where further input required. This includes both strong verbal and numerical analysis, as successful applicants will have to use numerical comparison and close reading of rationales to reach suitable conclusions, provide professional recommendations to bridge gaps. Stakeholder Engagement – Candidates must feel confident engaging with senior stakeholders directly, including 1LoD,2LoD ad 3LoD stakeholders. Candidates must be able to build effective working relationships and provide robust challenge and feedback where necessary without compromising those relationships Report Writing & Drafting skills – Candidates must be able to summarize large amounts of complex data into clear and comprehensive reports that can be readily understood by a senior audience. Candidates must be able to meet challenging deadlines to produce such reports. Must have ability to draft recommendations in clear, concise and professional manner to convey the stewardship analysis output to senior stakeholders. Experience working in Projects and change management experience.Knowledge and understanding of Non-Financial Risk Management and Operational Risk Management Framework.
