Position Summary:

The SQL Analyst is a critical support role responsible for supporting and optimizing key business processes through data audits, reporting, process creation, and dashboard management. This role ensures consistent documentation, provides actionable insights through dashboards, and supports the overall data needs of the business. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a continuous improvement mindset, and excels at turning raw data into meaningful intelligence to enhance departmental quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Auditing & Reporting

  • Collaborate with data teams to conduct frequent audits and ensure a high level of data integrity and accuracy across various systems.
  • Provide ad hoc reports to department leads and other stakeholders as needed to support urgent business decisions.
  • Investigate process breakdowns and recommend data-driven improvements to optimize workflow efficiency.

Process Creation and Documentation

  • Develop and standardize documentation templates and process flow charts to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • Design and deliver clear communication materials, including presentations and high-level overviews using visual aids and detailed diagrams.

Dashboard Creation and KPI Monitoring

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to actively monitor and measure business performance.
  • Automate dashboards to provide real-time insights on key data sets, ensuring stakeholders have immediate access to information.
  • Create visibility into core metrics to improve the quality of decision-making within the organization.

Data Analysis & Support

  • Fulfill ad hoc requests for data analysis and reporting from various internal teams.
  • Support departments by providing data and analysis to inform strategic planning and operational decisions.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelors degree, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in SQL & Data Management.
  • Knowledge of Advance Excel and Power BI will be preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
