Job Overview

The Shift Site Manager/Sr Manager Cell O&M position is a senior role located in Jamnagar, offered on a full-time basis. The primary responsibility is to supervise and manage operations and maintenance activities related to solar cell and module manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in solar energy and related operational processes, ensuring seamless and efficient site management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with solar technologies, particularly solar manufacturing and solar photovoltaic (PV) processes.
  • Proven expertise in solar cell and module technologies, with a strong understanding of cell and module processes and manufacturing standards.
  • Demonstrated capability in operations and maintenance, specifically within large-scale solar energy production facilities.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and coordinating teams within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, allowing for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex operational issues and develop strategic solutions to optimize production and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology and software platforms pertinent to solar operations and maintenance management.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance standards, ensuring all activities adhere to organizational and regulatory guidelines.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the solar cell and module manufacturing site, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance production capabilities and quality standards within the facility.
  • Lead and mentor a team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage resources, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
  • Ensure all operational processes comply with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
  • Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on performance, issues, and progress towards goals.
