Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management
  • Oversee daily plant operations to ensure production goals are met.
  • Monitor production schedules, quality control, and cost efficiency.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • People Management
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of department heads, engineers, supervisors, and workers.
  • Foster a culture of performance, safety, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff.
  • Production Planning
  • Coordinate with planning and supply chain teams to ensure timely raw material procurement and product dispatch.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure optimum utilization of resources.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and certifications (ISO, GMP, etc.).
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.
  • Maintenance & Engineering
  • Ensure timely preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines and utilities.
  • Drive automation and technology upgrades where applicable.
