IBM Cognos Consultant - Subcon

Area(s) of responsibility

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Cognos reports and dashboards using Cognos Analytics.
  • Create and maintain models using Cognos Framework Manager and Transformer.
  • Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Cognos reports and models.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Cognos Framework: The candidate must have a strong understanding and hands-on experience with the Cognos Framework Manager to design and develop models for reporting and analysis.
  • Expertise in Cognos Analytics: The candidate should have a deep understanding of Cognos Analytics to create dashboards, reports, and data modules.
  • Mastery of Cognos Transformer: The candidate should have extensive experience in using Cognos Transformer for creating multidimensional data models.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
