Job Description:

Engineer Philosophy Web Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented GIS Executive to join our Indore-based team. The ideal candidate will assist in creating, editing, and managing GIS databases to support geospatial and location-based projects.

This role provides valuable hands-on experience in the geospatial domain, offering exposure to real-time data and industry-standard tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain GIS datasets and geodatabases.
  • Edit, clean, and update spatial and attribute data.
  • Perform basic spatial analysis and mapping using GIS software.
  • Assist in data validation, transformation, and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the development and data teams on GIS-related tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with GIS software like ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar.
  • Understanding spatial data formats (e.g., shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML).
  • Knowledge of GIS database structures and data management.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
