Aasvaa Innovation Labs is a fast-growing AI & DeepTech startup incubated under the Government of Rajasthan's iStart initiative. We are building cutting-edge solutions in AI, Computer Vision, LegalTech, and Generative AI with products like (AI-powered legal research) and Lumex (Vision AI for photographers & surveillance).

We are now looking for a Founding Engineer who will join us at the ground level and play a critical role in shaping our core technology and product roadmap.

Role Overview

As the Founding Engineer, you will:


• Take ownership of end-to-end product development (backend, frontend, deployment).


• Architect scalable solutions for AI/ML-based applications.


• Build & lead the engineering team as we grow.


• Collaborate closely with the founder(s) on product strategy, innovation, and execution.


• Contribute to fundraising pitches, tech vision, and client interactions.

This role can evolve into CTO / Co-Founder based on mutual fit and performance.

Key Responsibilities


• Architect, develop, and deploy AI-powered products (GenAI, Vision AI, NLP).


• Build and optimize APIs, cloud infrastructure, and scalable platforms.


• Mentor junior engineers and set up strong coding practices.


• Collaborate with product & business teams to align technology with market needs.


• Stay ahead of the curve in AI/ML, LLMs, and emerging technologies.

What We're Looking For


• Strong technical foundation – Proficiency in Python, , cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and modern web frameworks.


• AI/ML exposure – Hands-on experience with NLP, LLMs, or Computer Vision (preferred).


• Startup mindset – Comfort with ambiguity, ability to build fast, break things, and iterate.


• Leadership skills – Potential to lead a team and grow into CTO/Co-Founder.


• Bonus: Prior startup/early-stage experience, contributions to open-source, or research background.

Compensation


• Base Salary: Negotiable (₹8–12 LPA depending on experience).


• Equity/ESOPs: 1–5% (Co-Founder level equity for the right fit).
