  • PHP application into a backend with React frontend and microservices architecture
  • You will collaborate with senior engineers and architects to design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, and performant systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to migrating features from a legacy PHP application to microservices
  • Develop user interfaces using following best practices and modern standards
  • Build, test, and deploy scalable RESTful / GraphQL APIs
  • Work with databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB) ensuring smooth migration of data models
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to containerize services using Docker and deploy on cloud platforms
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with proper documentation
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups in an Agile environment
  • Mandatory Skill Set (Must-Have)Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Backend development with & (or similar frameworks)
  • Frontend development with (Hooks, functional components, state management Redux or Context API)
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and inter-service communication (REST/GraphQL, message queues)
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) including schema design and queries
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and Agile development practices
  • Experience with unit testing / integration testing (Jest, Mocha, etc)
  • Good understanding of API design and error handling

Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

    • Experience in PHP (to understand and migrate legacy code)
  • Exposure to containerization & deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB/Redis)
  • Basic understanding of security best practices (JWT, OAuth, HTTPS, data validation)

  • Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or ChatGPT to improve productivity and code quality

  • Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
