Job Description

We are looking for an experienced
PHP Developer / Tech Lead
to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in PHP development, along with hands-on experience in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and MySQL. The role requires an individual who can design, develop, and integrate scalable backend systems while ensuring seamless API connectivity and optimal application performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain
    web applications using PHP
    and related technologies.
  • Write
    clean, efficient, and reusable code
    adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, testers, and product managers to deliver robust solutions.
  • Integrate and manage
    databases (MySQL)
    for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Implement and manage
    RESTful APIs
    for seamless application communication.
  • Ensure front-end functionality using
    JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
    aligns with back-end systems.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues efficiently.
  • Participate in
    code reviews
    , technical discussions, and documentation.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers in the team.

Required Skills & Competencies

Must-Have Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in
    PHP
    (Core PHP or frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of
    JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
    , and responsive UI development.
  • Experience with
    MySQL
    database design, queries, and performance tuning.
  • Expertise in
    RESTful API integration
    and web services.
  • Solid understanding of
    software development life cycle (SDLC)
    and version control tools (Git/Bitbucket).

Good-to-Have

  • Working knowledge of
    Java
    or exposure to Java-based systems.
  • Experience with
    Agile development methodologies
    .
  • Familiarity with
    cloud platforms
    or DevOps environments.
