Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled
ADF Developer
with 5 to 8 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions using
Azure Data Factory
and other Azure data services. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data engineering, ETL/ELT processes, cloud data platforms, and SQL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using
    Azure Data Factory (ADF)
    .
  • Develop, schedule, and monitor data workflows to ingest, transform, and publish data.
  • Integrate ADF pipelines with other
    Azure services
    like
    Data Lake, Blob Storage, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL DB, Logic Apps
    , and
    Functions
    .
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Optimize performance of data pipelines and troubleshoot issues.
  • Create and maintain documentation of data flows, architecture, and processes.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for Azure data development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of hands-on experience in data engineering and integration.
  • 3+ years of experience in
    Azure Data Factory
    development.
  • Strong proficiency in
    SQL
    , including stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.
  • Solid understanding of
    Azure cloud architecture
    and services (Data Lake, Azure SQL, Synapse, Blob Storage).
  • Experience with
    CI/CD pipelines
    for ADF (using Git, Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with
    DataBricks
    ,
    PySpark
    , or
    Azure Functions
    is a plus.
  • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g.,
    DP-203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure
    ).
  • Experience with other ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, Talend) is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) for automation.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
