Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems and components for oil and gas projects.
  • Create detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
  • Perform calculations to determine electrical loads and select appropriate equipment and materials.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
  • Ensure designs adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design issues to optimize performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in electrical design for the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards relevant to the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar design software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
