We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Chartered Accountant to join our team as an Indirect Tax & Compliance Strategist, based onsite at our Vesu, Surat office. In this role, you will manage comprehensive GST operations—including return filing, reconciliations, refunds, departmental representations, audit support, and client advisory.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across compliance, litigation support, and technology to ensure seamless execution of GST workflows. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a CA who wants to deepen expertise in GST, strengthen litigation experience, and contribute to technology-enabled tax automation.

Requirements

Key ResponsibilitiesGST Compliance & Operations
  • Manage end-to-end GST processes, including monthly/annual return filing, reconciliations, and ledger reviews.
  • Handle refund applications, documentation, and follow-ups with authorities.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all filings meet regulatory timelines.
Litigation Support & Departmental Coordination
  • Draft responses to GST notices, queries, and audit requests.
  • Prepare documentation and briefs for departmental hearings.
  • Assist senior team members in building strong litigation support frameworks.
Client Advisory & Relationship Management
  • Act as a trusted advisor for clients on GST matters, compliance requirements, and process improvements.
  • Provide proactive guidance on tax positions, reconciliations, and documentation best practices.
  • Coordinate with clients to gather information and ensure smooth workflow execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with advisory and internal tax teams to deliver comprehensive GST solutions.
  • Support implementation of tech-enabled compliance tools and automation systems.
  • Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and process enhancement initiatives.
