Jr Merchandiser- Design & Sourcing Team.

Location - Head Office (Lower Parel)

Working Days - 5(Mon to Fri)

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Stock Management & Fabric Selection:

  • Choose appropriate fabrics based on market demand, quality, and target costs.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to prevent stock outs or overstocking.
  • Ensure orders are placed on time to meet customer or market needs
  • Perform stock audits and organizing merchandise display regularly.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for restocking as needed and move slow moving options to sale as required.

2. Sales Performance and Promotion

  • Assist in driving sales through product placement and merchandising strategies.
  • Monitor sales trends and work on strategies to optimize product placement and promotional activities.
  • Be the POC between stores and the Design team for product launches and product plan
  • Communicate with and guide in-store staff on proper product displays and product related best practices.

3. Reporting and Feedback

  • Prepare reports on product performance and stock levels to store managers and other stakeholders.

4. Market and Competitor Analysis

  • Identifying trends, both in terms of products and customer preferences.

5. Cost and Profitability Management

  • Price Strategy : Determine competitive pricing for the fabric and product based on cost, market trends, and competition.
  • Budgeting : Ensure that the fabric procurement and trims within the allocated budget.
