- Ensure end-to-end compliance and validity against the Outcome Standards for NVR RTOs (2025), ASQA practice guides, training package requirements and (where applicable) National Code 2018 for CRICOS.
- Build clear mapping matrices (performance criteria → assessment tasks → instruments → evidence).
- Apply robust assessment principles (validity, reliability, fairness, flexibility) and rules of evidence (valid, sufficient, current, authentic).
- Partner with SMEs, trainers/assessors and clients to capture workplace context, simulation requirements and industry consultation evidence.
- Lead materials QA (technical edit, compliance audit, usability check, version control) and maintain document registers/assets.
- Provide training to new materials developers: onboarding, style guides, toolkits, templates, and code reviews; uplift capability through structured feedback loops.
- Produce trainer-ready facilitation packs (run sheets, exemplars, model answers, moderation guides) and learner-friendly artefacts (visuals, checklists, real-world scenarios).
- Support validation & moderation cycles; action findings and document change logs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of SKG's templates, house style, and QMS.
What you can bring (selection criteria)
- Demonstrated experience creating RTO learning & assessment materials across one or more training packages (e.g., Business, Childcare, Cookery, Construction, Information Technology and others).
- Deep working knowledge of Revised RTO Standards 2025, training package structures, and ASQA expectations.
- Proven capability to train/mentor junior developers and standardise outputs at scale.
- Strong grasp of TAS alignment, workplace simulation, and evidence requirements.
- Excellent writing, instructional design and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced document production skills (Word templates, controlled styles, track changes; PowerPoint for delivery decks).
- Organised and systems-oriented—comfortable with version control, naming conventions, and audit-ready artefacts.
Nice-to-have
- PhD or Masters in Management/Education (or equivalent industry/academic research profile).
- TAE40122 (or equivalent) and/or assessor experience.
- CRICOS/ELICOS exposure (timetabling, attendance, student support, language levels).
