We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling bank statements, and supporting the overall accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable/receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts on a regular basis.
  • Process invoices, expense claims, and payments.
  • Help in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
  • Participate in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant accounting experience.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP,) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
