Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled
Linux Engineer
to manage, support, and optimize our global Linux server infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with RHEL environments and a deep understanding of system administration, networking, and virtualization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, support, and administer
    Linux servers
    across global environments.
  • Work in
    18/5 rotational shifts
    with occasional
    weekend on-call support
    .
  • Manage and maintain
    RHEL (6.X to 8.X)
    systems.
  • Configure and maintain
    Yum repositories
    ,
    NFS
    , and
    CIFS protocols
    .
  • Handle
    Linux boot process
    ,
    file systems
    , and
    kernel-related
    configurations.
  • Manage
    Physical Volumes (PVs)
    ,
    Volume Groups
    , and
    LVMs
    .
  • Configure and manage
    SELinux modules
    and
    Active Directory authentication
    .
  • Troubleshoot
    boot
    ,
    file system
    , and
    kernel patching
    issues.
  • Document standard operating procedures and ensure quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in
    Electronics & Telecommunications
    ,
    Computer Science
    ,
    IT
    , or related field.
  • 2–5 years
    of hands-on Linux system support experience.
  • Solid understanding of
    Linux fundamentals
    ,
    VMware
    , and
    Storage/Backup
    concepts.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering reliable results.
