We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Database Administrator

In this role, you will:

  • The job holder is responsible for technical delivery of 24x7 production support to Oracle
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis and provide permanent fixes.
  • Investigate and provide solutions to database performance related issues.
  • Lead Database team in crisis calls, participate in MIR and PIR calls, also mentor team members.
  • Experience and expertise in maintaining complex High Availability & Replication setups.
  • Provide consultancy for complex setups and Disaster Recovery
  • Identify automation and Self-Healing opportunities and develop automation to reduce manual efforts and standardize processes.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Technical knowledge of Oracle concepts like RAC, Dataguard
  • Knowledge on 12c,19c versions & OEM
  • Build and Deploy/Implement Solutions. Perform Capacity Planning and DR Planning.
  • Troubleshooting Performance Issues and providing solutions.
  • Knowledge in handling Backup & Recovery.
  • Expertise in Role swap & Failover planning and implementation.
  • Technical knowledge of database space management
  • Implementing releases / service requests
  • Basic knowledge Golden Gate Replication.
