We are looking for a SQL Server Database Administrator with strong performance tuning and TSQL skills to help manage a large enterprise fleet in the cloud. The successful candidate will have deep database knowledge, Performance Tuning skillset, very strong problem-solving skills, and project management skills. Experience with other database management systems such as Postgres, Aurora or Oracle is required. Cloud Experience strongly preferred.

Essential Duties:

• Understanding of SQL Server and Microsoft Windows. This includes backups, recovery, and tuning
• Programming/Scripting skills with PowerShell, Python, Bash, Perl, or other scripting languages
• PowerShell and T-SQL programming and Execution
• SQL Server Database Administration and Performance-Tuning
• Participation in DevOps processes
• Windows O.S. management and Tuning
• Backup and Recovery tasks
• Capacity planning
• hands-on/experience with AWS services
• Strong Knowledge of Aurora/Postgres and Oracle is a must.
• Knowledge of other operating systems such as Linux.
• Problem-solving skills
• Project management skills
• Experience with Storage systems
• Experience with Networks
• Flexibility to work in different shifts.

• Knowledge of other RDBMS like Oracle , PostgreSQL or Aurora is strongly preferred.
