To ensure that all raw materials, consumables, and spare parts are available at the right time, in the right quantity, without excess stock. The Material Controller will be responsible for stock checks, timely order placements, supplier follow-ups, and maintaining accurate records in the system.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, stable, and responsible person who wants long-term employment in a well-structured manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock Management
  • Maintain daily stock records of raw materials, consumables, and spares.
  • Conduct physical verification of stock and reconcile with records.
  • Update stock sheets / Google Sheets daily.
  • Monitor min/max levels and raise alerts for low stock.
  • Order Placement & Follow-Up
  • Prepare purchase requests when stock reaches reorder level.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain purchase order records and delivery schedules.
  • Track pending POs and escalate delays.
  • Material Inward & Issue
  • Check material inward (quantity & quality) against PO.
  • Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note) records.
  • Issue materials to production with proper entry in register/system.
  • Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) for all items.
  • Vendor Coordination
  • Communicate with approved vendors for quotations, pricing, and delivery status.
  • Maintain vendor contact list with lead times and reliability ratings.
  • Escalate any shortages/delays to Supervisor/Owner in advance.
  • Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare daily stock update report for management.
  • Highlight critical stock shortages in red for owner review.
  • Submit weekly summary of stock, orders placed, and supplier performance.
  • Maintain files (manual + digital) for all inward/outward transactions.

Key Skills Required

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills (phone + WhatsApp follow-ups with vendors).
  • Basic computer knowledge (Google Sheets / Excel / Email).
  • Ability to plan ahead and avoid last-minute shortages.
  • Honest, reliable, and disciplined in record-keeping.

Profile Preference

  • Female (married preferred for stability & long-term employment).
  • Age: 28–40 years.
  • Prior experience in stores, accounts, or coordination role preferred (not mandatory if willing to learn).
  • Should live within reasonable distance from factory for daily commute.
