Job Title: Test Engineer / QA Automation Engineer

Location: Bodakdev, Ahmedabad

CultureX (an IIM-A backed Influencer SaaS startup) is looking for our
first QA hire
to establish and lead the testing discipline as a core part of our development lifecycle. This is a high-impact role where you'll directly shape our
quality culture, practices, and processes
.

What You'll Do

  • Embed quality from day one by participating in requirement & design discussions.
  • Own test strategy, planning, and execution across backend, frontend, and integrations.
  • Introduce and maintain
    automation frameworks
    (unit, integration, E2E) integrated into CI/CD.
  • Set up lightweight processes that enhance quality without slowing development.
  • Track & report quality metrics (defect leakage, test coverage, release readiness).
  • Coach the team on QA best practices, making testing part of our engineering DNA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with PMs, Designers & Developers to ensure testable, reliable features.
  • Design and implement test plans & regression suites for
    NodeJS, Express, Sequelize, Zod (backend)
    and
    React, Vite (frontend)
    .
  • Build and maintain automated pipelines integrated with AWS CI/CD.
  • Develop test data strategies for
    MySQL and MongoDB
    .
  • Ensure smooth release readiness with checklists & pre-release testing.
