As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our assets, ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting, and enhancing the efficiency of our operations. This position will require you to conduct thorough audits of our various departments, scrutinizing processes and systems to identify areas of risk and opportunities for improvement. You will be responsible for developing audit plans based on risk assessments and collaborating closely with departmental managers to understand their operations and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in engineering principles as well as accounting practices, allowing for a comprehensive evaluation of both financial and operational aspects. Your insights will not only help shape company policies and procedures but will also contribute to the overall strategic decision-making within the organization. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive audits of financial and operational processes in the engineering sector.
  • Assess risk management processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions for management review.
  • Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with various departments to facilitate audit activities and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and perform follow-up audits as necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to adapt audit approaches accordingly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Commerce, Finance, or any related field
  • Proven experience in internal auditing or a similar role, preferably within the mechanical or industrial engineering sector.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey findings to stakeholders clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Brave, Boldness and self-confident so that he can furnish the audit observations to the higher authorities without any hesitation.
  • Honest, Dominating and hard working
  • Drafting abilities and good presentation skills of the audit observations.
  • With addition to the commercial back ground, he has the ability of certain technical observation
  • Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.). Practical knowledge of present accounting package (if any) is desirable
