Key Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain accurate daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, cash, bank, and credit card entries.
  • Perform timely bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify discrepancies in accounting records and communicate them promptly to clients for resolution.
  • Maintain well-organized and up-to-date books of accounts to support efficient month-end closing.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing and reporting activities.
  • Prepare and manage detailed supporting schedules and documentation for client deliverables.
  • Utilize Excel and accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms) for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain financial data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or pursuing one).
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (freshers with strong skills may also apply).
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Tally, and strong knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
