Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Accounts Assistant  Manager  to manage all aspects of financial management, accounting, budgeting, direct and Indirect taxation with filing and reporting within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with financial regulations, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing key insights for business strategy and growth.

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting:

2. Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

3. Prepare and validate the companys financial performance, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
4. Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits and manage the implementation of audit recommendations.

5. Preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws.

6. Budgeting and Forecasting:

7. Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.

8. Monitor and control budget variance, identifying and analyzing discrepancies.

9. Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports to senior management.

10. Financial Compliance & Controls:

11. Ensure that all financial processes and transactions comply with legal regulations and company policies.

12. Establish, maintain, and review internal controls to safeguard company assets.

13. Manage statutory compliance, including GST, income tax, and other regulatory filings.

14. Treasury & Cash Flow Management:

15. Oversee daily cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations.

16. Manage banking relationships and ensure optimal cash management practices.

17. Ensure the timely payment of accounts payable and collection of accounts receivable.

18. Management Support & Strategy:

19. Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management for decision-making.

20. Assist in financial analysis of business opportunities and potential investments.

21. Contribute to the development of financial strategies and business plans to enhance profitability.

22. Team Management:

23. Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring professional development and maintaining high standards of performance.

24. Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth execution of financial operations.

25. Ad-Hoc Analysis and Reporting:

26. Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis, scenario planning, and financial modelling to support business decisions.

27. Work with the leadership team on financial due diligence and business restructuring, if needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualification:  Semiqualified experience
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, Taxation or related roles, with a strong background in financial reporting, auditing, and compliance.

• Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles , financial regulations, and corporate tax laws.

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho etc.) and Microsoft Excel.

• Knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Skills:

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
