Roles & Responsibilities:

Database Design and Development:

Designing and optimizing relational database structures, creating tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

SQL Querying and Optimization:

Writing complex SQL queries, optimizing existing queries for performance, and ensuring efficient data retrieval and manipulation. Indexing, Query optimization, performance tuning, Research required data.

Performance and Security:

Monitoring database performance, troubleshooting issues, ensuring database security, and implementing robust security protocols.

Collaboration and Integration:

Collaborating with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders to integrate SQL databases with applications and reporting tools and supporting business intelligence initiatives.

Documentation:

Preparing technical documentation and specifications for database architectures and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant
    professional experience.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and its variations across different relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL etc.).
  • Experience with database design, development, and optimization.
  • Knowledge of best practices for relational databases and data handling.
  • Familiarity with database administration tasks (e.g., user management, backups, restores).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant degree.
  • Working with large datasets and solving difficult analytical problems.
