About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Art Producer to lead the production of in-game maps and ensure seamless coordination between the art team, level designers, and other departments. We need someone with a deep understanding of the art production process, strong management skills, and proven experience on large-scale projects in the Battle Royale genre.
Main responsibilities :
Manage the art production pipeline for our Battle Royale game.
Act as the bridge to the Art Director, conducting initial reviews before final approval.
Work with the art department leads building schedules.
Provide feedback and guidance to ensure that art assets meet the project's aesthetic, technical, and budgetary goals.
Initiate and track all production processes, tasks through art stand up meetings, scrum, work with Jira.
Work with the team to create and maintain documentation on art asset production processes and best practices.
Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and third-party developers to ensure quality control on 3D art assets.
Contribute to improving the quality of the project, the productivity of art teams, the efficiency of our art processes and a positive team culture.
Ensure the work is done on time while maintaining morale in the team.
Requirements :
5+ years of experience as an Art Producer or 7+ years as a Project Manager with an art background.
Proven track record on projects in the Battle Royale genre (map production experience required).
Released games on Google Play Store or App Store.
Strong understanding of the full game level creation pipeline: from concept and blockout to final in-game integration.
PMP certification (or other PMI credentials) is a plus.
Experience working with distributed teams, with the ability to establish processes and set priorities.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with artists, level designers, and engineers.
Understanding of modern art pipelines, game engines (Unreal Engine experience is a plus), and mobile content optimization.
Experience in tools like Jira, Slack, Confluence, Google docs, Smartsheet and Google sheets.
Strong project management skills and good at planning in all situations.
Excellent knowledge of game art production pipelines.
Personable, able to adapt communication style to different types of people
For remote candidates, at least 5 years of experience in remote management is required
