Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and proven experience in driving projects / product development as a BA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to interact with clients, execute projects independently with the team, and even grow into a Product Owner role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for financial and accounting software solutions.
  • Convert business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements for financial workflows.
  • Define data mapping, integration requirements, and API specifications for SaaS platforms.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test cases and validating functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare training materials and documentation for end-users and internal teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT / CS / MBA - Finance / Commerce background with BA experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial/accounting domain.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Accounting systems.
  • Experience with SaaS platforms, cloud applications, and API integrations.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Excel, SQL.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
