Job Title: Business Analyst (Healthcare Domain)

Exp: 1- 3 Years

Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to understand healthcare business processes and challenges.
  • Gather, document, and analyze functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise specifications for technical teams.
  • Analyze current workflows and processes in clinical, administrative, and operational areas.
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose optimized solutions.
  • Ensure alignment of solutions with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Act as a liaison between healthcare providers, management, IT teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication to ensure that all parties understand project goals and progress.
  • Analyze healthcare data (e.g., patient records, billing, claims) to identify trends, inefficiencies, or areas of concern.
  • Create reports and dashboards to support decision-making processes.:
  • Assist in the design and development of systems like Electronic Health Records (EHR), Hospital Information Systems (HIS), or insurance claim systems.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that implemented solutions meet the business needs.
  • Ensure solutions comply with healthcare regulations and data privacy laws.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, workflows, and system specifications.
  • Provide training and support to healthcare staff on new systems and processes.
  • Address post-implementation issues and recommend continuous improvements.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare domain.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, EHR/EMR platforms, and insurance workflows.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, ICD-10 coding, CMS guidelines).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI) and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
