Commis I

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commis I - Asian to join our team in the Hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and preparing Asian cuisine, with excellent culinary skills and attention to detail.

Roles and Responsibility

• Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes, including stir-fries, curries, and noodle dishes.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area.
• Collaborate with other chefs to ensure consistency and quality of food preparation.
• Develop new recipes and menus to keep culinary offerings fresh.
• Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a chef or cook in an Asian restaurant or similar establishment.
• Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine, including Chinese, Japanese, and Korean cooking techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances.
• High level of creativity and innovation in menu planning and food presentation.
