About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Plant Head with a strong background in compounding engineering polymers such as SAN, ABS, PC, Nylon, etc. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, operations, and process optimization at our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily plant operations and ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
  • Lead and manage teams across production, maintenance, quality, and safety.
  • Develop and implement process improvements for polymer compounding lines (SAN, ABS, PC, Nylon, etc.).
  • Ensure adherence to production targets, timelines, and cost parameters.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, process compliance, and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with R&D and technical teams for product trials and scale-ups.
  • Manage plant budgets, inventory, raw material planning, and vendor coordination.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience in polymer compounding, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep technical knowledge of compounding processes for engineering polymers like SAN, ABS, PC, Nylon, etc.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing lean manufacturing or process optimization tools is preferred.
