Job Title: Junior Engineer Electrical Maintenance

Industry: Automotive Manufacturing

Location: Chennai

Experience: 24 Years in Electrical Maintenance (Automotive/Manufacturing Industry)

Qualification: Diploma EEE

Salary: 3 to 4 lpa

Job Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems in automotive production lines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in machinery, robots, conveyors, CNC/PLC machines, VFDs, and control panels.
  • Monitor and maintain HT/LT power distribution, transformers, circuit breakers, and utility equipment.
  • Ensure minimum downtime by quick response to electrical issues during production.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and calibration of new machines and automation systems.
  • Maintain documentation of maintenance schedules, breakdown history, and spare consumption.
  • Implement safety standards and energy efficiency measures in the plant.
  • Work closely with production and mechanical teams to ensure smooth line operations.

Key Skills Required:

  • Hands-on experience with PLC, SCADA, VFDs, Robotics, and Automation systems in automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, control panels, and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience in TPM, Kaizen, 5S, ISO/TS 16949 practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and minimize machine downtime.
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills.
